Usb Over Ip For Mac

USB Network Gate lets your computer work with remote USB devices over Internet/LAN/WAN as if those devices were connected directly to this computer. You can share a USB device with remote computers no matter how far they are and let people all over the world use them easily. For example, you may have several computers (Mac, Windows or Linux ones) that run programs that use the same USB security dongle for authorization. The constant plugging and unplugging of the dongle is not only annoying, but brings a good chance of damage (the dongle is getting loose).

Is there a way to remotely access a usb device (in this case an ipad) over ethernet/ip? Here is the setup: 1: mac mini setup as OS X Mavericks Server (with a static ip) 2. Mac mini stored in a lab environment 5 floors away (no physical access for usb unless I actually go down to the lab) 3. Able to remotely connect to the mac mini from my workstation (windows 8.1) either via vnc or logmein What I would like to do is be able to connect the iPad to my computer (win 8.1 workstation) and be able for the mac mini to be able to remotely connect to it and have xcode see it. Is this possible?
